‘I knew I needed to do more to stay fit.  I was running about once a week but not doing any resistance training or muscles work.  I don’t like the gym so group training was the perfect option. I feel really good after the sessions. I can now actually do a press up!  I have more definition in my arms and legs.  I have lost weight.  I am more focussed at work when I have done a session and it’s good stress relief!

“I found out about the Training through recommendation. Having looked at the website several times but always felt a bit intimidated by the wholsarahandjoe prospect of not being able to hide in a crowd!  I felt very nervous when I turned up but soon felt at ease because of Caroline’s reception and enthusiasm. The small group was not as scary as I thought and in fact I enjoyed the fact that Caroline was monitoring all of us and we were in competition against ourselves (whilst also keeping a sneaky check on what others were doing!).

I was surprised at how I could push myself and how much I enjoyed the variety of exercises. I also really appreciated all of the explanations given which made the whole thing make sense. I would recommend the sessions to friends who are bored with the whole going to the gym routine!”

‘I was worried about my level of fitness compared to other people in the class, that I wouldn’t be able to keep up!  But all the exercises are modified to suit all levels – and I am fitter than I thought!

I feel much better about myself for attending the training and actually enjoy getting up early for them – it really sets me up for the day!  After only a few sessions I was getting comments from people at work that I had lost weight!

Having worked with Caroline as a Personal Trainer she recommended that I join the Outdoor Fit for Life group as a more affordable and long term way to maintain training and a much better option that the gym.

The fact that the first Personal training and group training session were for free really encouraged me to give it ago as there was nothing to lose. Also after that Caroline has so many flexible payment options that you can find the right one for you and don’t feel financially so committed as if joining an annual gym membership.

Having done a variety of different diets and gone through lots of different exercise regimes I was unable to stick to anything and just slowly gaining weight. Caroline’s approach is very much to slowly encourage changes in diet and exercise regime as and when you are ready and willing to adopt them. There has been a complete overhaul of my diet. Many of these changes I don’t view as being on a diet but a permanent change. Through both the diet and nutrition I have been able to lose a stone and have maintained this for 3 months now.

I never truly believed that I would be able to achieve my weight goals so have been very surprised. Also I was surpised that by making changes such as increasing the amount of protein I was able to diet without being hungry. I never lot I would be able to have an exercise regime at home that I did on my own as I didn’t think I was have the discipline but Caroline introduced me to Kettle Bells which I now love.”
